Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) aims to change the way an individual thinks/feels (Cognitive element) and what the individual does (Behavioural element).

Rather than focusing on past causes this form of therapy focuses on current problems being experienced by the individual and offers practical solutions to enable such individuals to feel better, confident, and emotionally stronger.

This form of therapy can be specifically helpful to those experiencing:

  • Depression

  • Lack of confidence

  • Struggling to manage a distorted sense of self

  • Anxiety

  • Stress

  • Fears and phobias

  • Eating disorders, and disorganised eating conditions

  • Management of long-term conditions

(*I offer a reduced rate for individuals who meet the following criteria: NHS workers, former clients, and sessions booked in blocks of six or more.)
